Testimonials

Where do I start…..during a recent staycation we booked Rebecca for two dinner parties and two breakfasts to celebrate birthdays. The food, cooked by Chef Marcus, was amazing and equalled anything we’d eaten in a top restaurant and Marcus’ canapes were to die for. The service, provided by Jill and Ally, was friendly and attentive and there was absolutely no clearing up to be done at the end of the night. As if that wasn’t enough, Rebecca saved us when, as a group of 14 people including 6 children, we struggled to book into any restaurants. At very short notice, she delivered some first class meals ready for us to pop into the oven. I can thoroughly recommend the homemade curries and chicken pie. Thank you to Rebecca and her team for making our staycation a culinary delight. We would definitely use you again and have already recommended you to friends

Dear Rebecca,

Thank you so much for catering our wedding weekend, you were recommended to us as the best for the job but you still delivered so much more than we hoped for. From the first meeting with you, designing our menu and working out the weekend plan, we were excited by the ideas you put forward and reassured that you understood exactly what we wanted. Your thorough planning and attention to detail from the start allowed us to relax and focus on other areas of the wedding, confident that you were going provide an excellent service.

For the whole weekend you and your friendly staff made everything run so smoothly and reserving a selection of canapes for us at the wedding breakfast was a wonderfully thoughtful gesture. So many guests on Saturday remarked what excellent food you served, and the father of the bride exclaimed:

“I’ve never seen such great quality food served hot to so many people!”

Thank you again for providing the food and service to make our special weekend so memorable.

Also one more question, is it possible to get a list of the cheeses you provided for the evening? A few of our guests have asked what you put out so they can find it themselves.

We wish you all the best for the future

August 2019,

Dear Rebecca,

Massive thanks for a really wonderful lunch on Wednesday.  It was really superb and hugely and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The main, with all its accompanying dishes, was exactly how I wished it to be and more, it looked wonderful and tasted extremely delicious - totally divine.  Everyone really eulogised over it.

Thank you so much for the extra effort with the presentation - all the edible flowers, roses, beautiful serving dishes, preserved lemons, nuts, raspberries, herbs - your extra touches brought real beauty to our feast, it was all very much appreciated and enjoyed.

Delicious array of desserts - your advice was spot on with the combination, and on our starter too - wow that pickled shallot was something special in the gorgeous creamy sweetcorn and crab soup.  And the kids gobbled it up at great speed much to our combined shock!!  You also got the quantities of each course just right too, I don't know how you did it??

Emma was superb so please thank her profusely for us.  It was moderate chaos when she arrived, and I had forgotten to light the log oven early enough and she was an embodiment of calm!  She created a beautiful feast for us.

It was a wonderful day, a fitting celebration of our parents 50 years together, and we could not have been more delighted by our choice of caterers.

Thank you so much.

With best wishes

Feb 2019,

Dear Rebecca,

What incredible service!  The team you sent were so calm, so efficient and reassuring.  I'm not sure when I have enjoyed one of our own parties quite so much!  All of our guests commented on the food and especially the wonderfully friendly and enthusiastic service.  Sarah was a human dynamo - everywhere at once and smiling all the time.  Nothing was too much trouble and most importantly she won the trust of my husband who never ever lets anyone near his precious wine and who suddenly realised that it was all being done around him and that he hadn’t moved for a while - truly amazing!  If they would all like to come and live with us that would be just lovely!!

As you might be able to tell we are very happy and thank you very much.  The only complaint I have is that Emma and her assistant (forgive me for not getting her name) disappeared silently so that we couldn’t say a proper thank you.  The kitchen looked like it did before we moved into the house and made it messy and to everyone’s delight they had left a jug of custard which was hoovered up at lunch the next day.

Very best wishes

Sophie
